The problem
Errors explain what happened, but not always what to do next.

Application logs hold the context developers need when something goes wrong, but identifying the relevant error and translating it into a useful next step can take significant technical knowledge and time. We saw an opportunity to keep that help inside the existing logs workflow.

Rather than introducing a separate chatbot, the concept adds a simple action to the existing logs experience. Developers select the relevant error, choose “Help me fix this,” and receive context-aware guidance without breaking their workflow.

As product designer, I worked closely with two engineers and a product manager during the hackathon to shape the product concept, interaction design, and prototype. My focus was translating a technically complex idea into a clear, actionable experience and defining where AI should enter the workflow and how its guidance could feel useful without overreaching. The concept won the internal hackathon, validating the potential of placing AI directly in the debugging experience.
